But as you continue on the journey, you begin to feel more confident and empowered, standing tall and proud in your stilettos. Learn more

  • While we do not currently accept insurance, we strive to make our therapy services as accessible as possible. We offer a sliding scale based on income and accept HSA/FSA cards for your convenience.

Additionally, we can provide you with a reimbursement bill to submit to your insurance company, although we cannot guarantee reimbursement as it is ultimately up to your insurance provider. Our goal is to ensure that everyone who needs therapy can access it, regardless of their financial situation.

  • It's important to understand that a therapy license is not like a driver's license. While a driver's license is valid in any state, a therapy license is specific to the state in which the therapist is licensed. This means that if you want to see a therapist, you must see one who is licensed in the state that you live in.

The reason for this is that each state has its own requirements for licensure, and therapists must meet those requirements to practice in that state.

  • At our therapy practice, we offer a sliding scale payment system to make therapy more accessible for those who may not be able to afford the full cost of a session. This means that we can reduce the cost of therapy sessions below the average cost based on a waitlist. Both current and incoming clients can take advantage of this system.

If you're interested in taking advantage of our sliding scale payment system, simply let us know when you schedule your appointment. We'll work with you to determine a payment plan that fits within your budget.

  • Yes! For your convenience, we offer evening therapy sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 5, 6, and 7 pm CST. This allows you to schedule your therapy sessions after work or school, making it easier to fit therapy into your busy schedule.

We understand that life can be hectic, and we're committed to making therapy as accessible as possible.

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to change time zones. We offer therapy sessions according to the Central Standard Time (CST) schedule, which may be different from your local time zone. We recommend that you check the time difference and adjust your schedule accordingly. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and we'll do our best to assist you.

  • During your first therapy session, your therapist will spend some time getting to know you and your concerns. They will ask questions about your background, personal and family history, and what led you to seek therapy. You can also ask questions and discuss what you hope to achieve through therapy.

  • The length of therapy varies depending on your individual needs and goals. Some people may only need a few sessions to work through a specific issue, while others may benefit from ongoing therapy for a longer period of time. Your therapist will work with you to determine a treatment plan that meets your needs.

  • We understand that unexpected events can happen and you may need to cancel or reschedule your therapy appointment. However, we kindly request that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel without a 24-hour notice of your appointment, you will be charged the total session rate.

However, if you provide us with at least 24 hours notice, there will be no charge. This allows us to make the most of our time and ensure that other clients can schedule appointments during that time slot.

  • At our therapy practice, we offer completely virtual therapy sessions for your convenience. We do not offer in-person sessions at this time. Our virtual therapy sessions allow you to access therapy from the comfort of your own home, office, or other private space, making it easier to fit therapy into your busy schedule.

We believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, and our virtual therapy services are designed to make that a reality.

  • It's important to note that coaching and psychotherapy may not be interchangeable and that clients should choose the appropriate method based on their specific needs and goals.

Coaching focuses on helping clients achieve specific goals, such as career advancement or personal growth. Psychotherapy, on the other hand, focuses on addressing mental health issues, such as anxiety or depression, and is typically used in a clinical or therapeutic setting.

  • The session begins with a moment to relax and connect with your inner self. It's common to take a few deep breaths or engage in a short meditation to help you focus and set the intention for the reading. Once you're ready, the tarot reader will guide you through the process.

During the session, the tarot reader will use a variety of oracle and tarot cards to provide guidance and insights into your questions and concerns. These cards are carefully chosen and arranged in specific patterns or spreads, each with its own purpose and meaning.

For example, if you ask a question like, "What barriers are preventing me from being happy right now?" the tarot reader might use a spread specifically designed to address obstacles or challenges. The cards drawn will reflect various aspects of your life and shed light on the barriers that may be impacting your happiness.

As the reader reveals the cards and interprets their symbolism, they will engage in a conversation with you. They will encourage you to share your thoughts, feelings, and personal associations with the cards. The reading becomes a collaborative process, where the reader's guidance and your own insights work together to gain clarity and understanding.

The beauty of a tarot session lies in the open-ended nature of the cards and their interpretations. The symbolism and messages conveyed by the cards can resonate on multiple levels, triggering your own intuition and sparking new perspectives. Through this process, you'll gain insights, uncover hidden patterns, and receive guidance that can empower you to make informed decisions and navigate your life's challenges.

  • Yes, tarot can be incorporated into your therapy session if requested and if it appropriately fits into your treatment plan. Integrating tarot cards can provide an additional tool for reflection and guidance during your therapeutic journey.

During your therapy sessions, if desired, your therapist may choose to incorporate tarot by pulling 1-2 cards at the end of each session. These cards can serve as guiding points for further exploration and self-reflection between sessions. The selection of cards may include traditional tarot or oracle cards such as self-care cards, depending on what resonates with you.

The purpose of incorporating tarot into therapy is to enhance self-awareness, deepen insights, and foster personal growth. It offers an opportunity to tap into your intuition and gain fresh perspectives on the challenges you're facing. Tarot can provide symbolic representations that facilitate discussion and exploration of emotions, patterns, and potential paths forward.

It's important to note that the use of tarot in therapy is entirely optional and depends on your preferences and therapeutic goals. Your therapist will discuss and collaborate with you to determine if and how tarot can complement your treatment plan. The focus remains on your well-being and creating a supportive and effective therapeutic environment.
